Dr. Stephens has extensive training and experience in both economic and financial consulting. She has been qualified as an expert economist in Federal Court and in the Circuit Courts throughout Florida. Dr. Stephens specializes in the analysis of economic losses including earning capacity in personal injury matters and money support in wrongful death matters. In addition, she has experience in the areas of commercial business valuations, securities and investment analysis, real estate analysis and compensation for risk. Her professional experience includes work in the banking and savings and loan industries. Dr. Stephens received her B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan, an M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley (Finance and Accounting) and her Ph.D. from the University of Florida, specializing in labor economics and econometrics.
